HistArch - Historische Archäologie

Historische Archäologie GrafikMore than 50 percent of the cultural heritage excavations deal with the Middle Ages and th Modern Times. While a source-critical examinations and overarching analyzes have become a matter of course for the medieval discoveries, we see a deficit for the Modern Age in the German-speaking world.
The online journal "Historische Archeologie" has been offering a new publication medium online and open-access since the spring of 2009. "Historical Archeology" should primarily and purposefully present research and analyzes of the late Middle Ages and The Modern Times in their overall context. The category unplugged provides students final theses since 2015. The series of special volumes was initiated in 2019 with a commemorative publication.
