Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Anke Wesse studied Pre- and Protohistory, Cultural Anthropology and Edaphology at the Universities in Hamburg and Kiel. In 1985 she received her doctorate from the Christina-Albrechts-University in Kiel. She was initially employed as student assistant, then as scientific collaborator for the DFG-project “Archsum”. Since 1988 she has worked as scientific collaborator at the institute.

Responsibilities

  • Scientific editor for the publications of the institute in Kiel.
  • Concept of the Bachelor-/Master-degree in “Prehistoric and Historic Archaeology”, its development and coordination under consideration of the university's presets and aspects relevant to the studies as well as managing any associated work
  • Exam organizer and BaföG-delegater
